Yesterday a friend gave me some very good advice....



Be happy that you had your time with him- cherish it but don't let it stop you from loving someone else.  
Every relationship is different and life is too short to dwell on the things we wish for!

    Wow, really good advice. A friend was telling me the same the other day - that true love is a gift that not everyone gets to enjoy and even the shortest time should be appreciated.

    But your friend is right too, we should also be able to move on and live our lives fully - the past can be something that ways us down if we're not careful. It's a delicate balance
